On Veterans day the kids have the day off of course, so we wanted to do something fun but close by and I was out of cash. So we had a friend of mine and 4 of her kids over for french toast in the morning and headed of to Santa Rosa. We spent about 3 1/2 hours there walking the trails. Keep in mind the kids had to stop at every rocky area and climb up these big rocks and at every tree that had the potential for climbing. We at our lunch there under a huge, sprawling tree and never once saw an animal the whole day.
