Catching you up 4?? Is that what we are on?

So we moved in got the kids in school. Out here the bus is free and much safer. They only make about 6 stops and then take that group of kids back to the school. That way the bus isn't packed with kids out of control, which makes it impossible for the bus driver to keep an eye one them. The kids were super excited about riding the bus out here. (This is point for NC, so they have 2 points. Cuter squirrels and better bus system) After one week of having the kids in school we realized this school system(sorry native NC'ers) is about a year behind Cali. Ahhhhhh!! Sierra goes to Math with 8th graders cuz she's in Algebra and they dont offer that to 7th graders out here. They have no advanced Language Arts and if there is one thing Sierra is good at (and there is more than just one thing) that girl can read! Same with Luis, he know how to multiply, tell time, add money and add and subtract 3 digit numbers. They wont even be learning to multiply this year out here??? WHAT? They wont even do adding money or 3 digit number till the end of the year. We just did his parent teacher conference and he tests at a 3rd grade level ( a year ahead) but they dont have any advanced placement for his age. NOT TO MENTION (although I'm about to lol) both of the kids are way younger than most of the kids in their classes. They were already younger than everyone back home cuz they started Kinder at age 4. But out here the cut off if 6 months later than in Cali. So both of the kids are a full year younger even a year and a half younger than some. So thats were we come into the consideration of Homeschooling. Dun dun dun duuunnnn.
