We went on our first field trip with our Co-op. It was to a house over 150 years old that belonged to one of the oldest families in Raleigh NC. Of course they owned over 500 slaves and thousands of acres. Im just going to post a few pictures. There isnt really anything to interesting that they told us about them. But they did have the home Thomas Jefferson lived in moved onto the property and that was cool to see!

| This was the home after being added onto. It was originally just the downstairs and only two rooms. Which would be the section to you bottom right and a room behind it |

| I found it interesting that each room slept a whole family. Come on people, even on little house on the prairie they put the kids in a separate room. |
