Julian

Yesterday, my best friend and I took the kids on a day trip to Julian Ca. We picked organic apples. Went to little Apple Festival (that was pretty lame, but the kids liked it) Walked around the little shops and had lunch at a totally charming house, which from the outside looked a bit boring but when seated inside, it felt like you were sitting in a quaint little living room. Then we headed to the Mining Company where the kids panned for gems and picked a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch. This was the cutest place and the cute, young couple that runs it(and lives in the back) stayed open later for us which was totally sweet and much appreciated because the kids just loved it. And I never knew roaming through a pumpkin patch was so much fun.
